Silhouette LTC #2: Blues Brothers
32 of this card was made for the Silhouette #2 swap.
I like this card. Its a bit on the simple side but I'm not really one to 'over-do'... yet.
A simple black card stock with some cool paper. (I thought it looked a bit like chain link fence) perfect for the Blues Brothers. I will have a few extras available for trade until unavailable.

Great Barrier Reef.
30 cards made for the Wonders of the World Swap.
I found this image months before I started LTCs. There was something about it that when I saw it, I wanted to carve it. One day, I was looking through swaps and found the perfect one. Wonders of the World... the perfect place for the image I've been wanting to carve. I transferred the image and it sat on my carving desk for a few days. This image was a bit intimidating. I've carved hard stamps before but not quite this challenging. Once I started it, it took about 5 sittings to finish. My eyes kept screwing up... even magnified. I was completely pleased with the outcome. But now what... well, I picked some marble blueish paper and stamped in black, then embossed in clear. It needed color. I did one in marker. It was ok but I tried another in water color. Yep.. that was the way to go. It took a long time to hand paint each one, but well worth it.
I hope you enjoy this card with one of my favorite stamps.

Tim Burton Swap: Edward Scissorhands
This is my 7th card set (thats 175 cards in 22 days holy cow!)
I just finished my Edward Scissorhands card for the Tim Burton Swap. I love Tim Burton. Always have. I've loved Jack Skellington since the movie first came out in '93. I carved 2 Nightmare Stamps a little after I started boxing and currently use them as PT's.
I've always wanted to carve Johnny Depp. I think Jack Sparrow is my favorite but never had the excuse. Edward Scissorhands is a close second, and this was the perfect excuse to carve him! I made this card fairly simple. I hope the stamp will stand on its own. I do love the accent paper I used and think it fits well, but only true E. Scissorhands fans may get it. I also used my new paper punch on the corners for this card. Adds a nice simple finish to it I think.
.I made 34 of this card, and will have some for trade until marked 'unavailable'.

Weeds
A New LTC For Adults only.

This is my first adult card and there are 18 of them.
I love this show on Showtime. Its so funny and unique.

I've put the picture of this card on another page. I didn't want anyone seeing it who doesn't want to. So you can see it by clicking HERE. I carved 2 stamps for this card. One stamp was stamped 9 times on each card in lighter greens and the other stamp is the Weeds Logo stamped in dark green and embossed in 'crystal antique'.... a fancy way of saying clear. I used my new fancy little corner rounder on this card then rolled the edges in green ink to finish them off.
This card is available for trade until they are gone.

Twilight Saga: When You Can Live Forever...

37 of this card was made for the Twilight Sage Swap. This has been my most time consuming card to date... ok so its only the 5th one but still!
The stamp didn't take too long to carve, I had already carved another stamp of the same image.. this one is just a bit smaller. The image was stamped and embossed on cool marble paper, then mounted on dark red card stock. It has a vellum over lay printed with a saying. (do you now how hard it was to get my printer to want to print on vellum. Not an easy task) Then the overlay was trimmed with those same bumpy scissors from the last card and held on with a brad.
I'm very happy with them, They came out exactly how I envisioned them and I think they fit the theme well.
Haunted House 2008
Made for the Halloween Swap. I did this set of cards in one day. It took about 45 min to carve the stamp and the image embossed very well. Very few got trashed. My little one was excited that I used here special 'bumpy' scissors to cut out the orange paper. I glued that on textured black paper.
Overall I'm happy with the result. I made 30 of them and I'm sure I will have some for trade until marked 'unavailable'

Fall2008 LTC
I like how this card came out. Made in Mid September 2008, This is the card I had posed about. I could not find fall paper to make this card. I did however, find fall paper cocktail napkins and thought I'd give it a shot. The napkins were easy to use and I glued on the colored square using white glue VERY watered down. I then embossed the image on vellum, cut out the bottom and attached it to the colored card with glue. Anyone who has glued vellum knows it doesn't work so great. I had to use a piece of gold ribbon to hide that. I've recently purchased a roll of vellum tape and will use that the next time around... again, live and learn.

I made this card for fun... or trade and there were a limited 30 of them made.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow is a card I made just for fun.. or for trade. This was a stamp I carved a few years ago and did nothing with. All the black is embossed in black and then colored with water color. I first made 10 of these but then changed how I did the back side so I ended up calling those first 10, First Editions. I've since made 20 more.
Schoolhouse Rock:Rocks
Schoolhouse Rock: Rocks is the first LTC I've made. it was made early in September 2008. I made it for the Schoolhouse rock swap and I made 24 of them.

When I made this card, I had only seen maybe 6 or 7 cards from others. I think this card is plain and now I can think of all the things I should have done.... or shouldn't have done.

I water colored the paper. Then put if through the printer to get all the info on the back. Big Mistake. They didn't go through the printer all that well .... live and learn. I love this image and I hope it will save this card :)
