30 cards made for the Wonders of the World Swap.I found this image months before I started LTCs. There was something about it that when I saw it, I wanted to carve it. One day, I was looking through swaps and found the perfect one. Wonders of the World... the perfect place for the image I've been wanting to carve. I transferred the image and it sat on my carving desk for a few days. This image was a bit intimidating. I've carved hard stamps before but not quite this challenging. Once I started it, it took about 5 sittings to finish. My eyes kept screwing up... even magnified. I was completely pleased with the outcome. But now what... well, I picked some marble blueish paper and stamped in black, then embossed in clear. It needed color. I did one in marker. It was ok but I tried another in water color. Yep.. that was the way to go. It took a long time to hand paint each one, but well worth it.
I hope you enjoy this card with one of my favorite stamps.
